Music at Christ the King Episcopal Church
Sunday Morning Music
10:30 AM Worship Service
Music at Christ the King Episcopal Church is central to our worship, liturgy, and congregational life. Through hymns, songs of praise, and choral anthems, music helps open our hearts to God and to one another in ways that words alone cannot.
We design participatory services as a vital part of our liturgy. Through the unique spiritual power of congregational singing, we strive to build a strong community within the church membership and to reach out to our local friends and neighbors. Our small but spirited choir helps lead this musical offering each week.
For us, music is more than performance — it’s how we build community, deepen faith, and celebrate the beauty of God’s presence among us. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to get involved and connect with others through music, we invite you to bring your willing heart and love of singing to join us. There is a place for you here at Christ the King!

8:00 AM Worship Service Rite I Music
The music at our 8:00am, Holy Eucharist, Rite I service on Sunday mornings is quiet and contemplative. Scott Gilmore plays a vast array of classic Christian hymns on a classical guitar. Whether it is through the prelude music prior to the worship service, a piece that follows the sermon, or a piece during communion, Scott Gilmore's gentle, faithful, spirit combined with his acumen on the guitar make for a deeply holy, worshipful experience.
Music for Our Community
Bringing music out beyond our own parish family into the wider community is a powerful way to build bridges, foster a sense of belonging, and remind us that we are all deeply connected. Music has the unique ability to transcend differences, speak to the heart, and create shared moments of joy, reflection, and hope. By sharing concerts, recitals, and musical conversations with the greater area, we extend an open invitation to unity, healing, and mutual care—nurturing not just a parish, but a community rooted in compassion and togetherness.
