Family Faith Formation

Christ the King Episcopal Church welcomes children and youth of all ages. We offer weekly activities and events for the whole family.

 

Sunday School

9:15 - 10:15 am

We currently have classes for K - 4th grade and 5 - 12th grade. Sunday School is a wonderful way to nurture spirituality and deepen faith.

Nursery 

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Nursery is provided every Sunday for ages 0-4 years old. Children will enjoy a Bible story and fun activities every week. It is located behind the Sanctuary by the playground. 

*Please bring any necessary drinks/snacks, diapers/wipes.
*During summer break the nursery will only meet during the 10:30am service.

Children's Church

10:30 am 

Every Sunday during the 10:30 service, children ages K-4th grade are invited to Chapel after the Children's Message where they will have an opportunity to hear and experience scripture in age-appropriate ways. We will return to the service to celebrate the Eucharist.

Youth Acolytes

10:30 am

Acolytes serve during the 10:30am service as Crucifier, Torch Bearer, Gospel Bearer & Gospel Cross. If your child is in 4th grade or up and are interested in becoming an Acolyte, please contact office@christthekingfl.org.


Cry Room: If you'd like to keep your little one nearby and still enjoy the service, we have a Cry Room located in the narthex with a window and sound to engage in worship.

The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School

Located adjacent to Christ the King Episcopal Church, this montessori school offers preschool and kindergarten curriculum to kids ages 18 months to 6 years of age.


Children's Ministry

Children's Chapel

Sunday 10:30 am

Children will begin in the service with their family and go to Children’s Chaper after the Children’s Message. They will return to the service during the Peace.

*Please make sure to complete a registration form for each child participating in Sunday morning activities when you drop them off at their classroom. This will give us necessary information about allergies, emergency contact, and photo permissions.
